we have been paying this company for 9.5 years of premiums. we have submitted 1 claim and they have now denied it 3 times. I have now gotten the state involved and they have budged 25%. They are the worst company ever. They don't care about their holders or their belongings or their homes.

I have a policy with ASI for my home since 2011. I filed a claim at the begining of February 2018 and it is still not resolved 100%. I did a second claim at the bigining of April 2018, and they are still giving me hard time and low balling me. Today is July 23, 2018 and my house is still a mess, but they do not care. I will not recommend this company to any family member or friend.

I have been waiting over a month for my refund. I signed the cancellation papers. I was requested to provide a forwarding address. I submitted the forwarding address to your company and confirmed receipt. I called mid July in regards to my refund and was informed that the agent that input my information put the wrong forwarding address and the check has to be cancelled and resubmitted and that could take another 30 days. Very horrible customer service. I could give no star I would

ASI allows you to make payments online. To do this, you must first register and login into the Policyholder section of its website.

In the event you need to file a claim, ASI allows you to do so entirely online by filling out a form. You can also report a claim by calling 1-866-274-5677.  The ASI Emergency Claims Service team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Reinsurance program

On April 1, 2015, ASI became a majority-owned subsidiary of the Progressive Corporation. For its property business, Progressive says it employs both occurrence-based and aggregate-based reinsurance.

While recent storm activity may raise reinsurance pricing levels, Progressive plans to continue to employ a “robust reinsurance program” for its property business and plans to remain diligent in ensuring the costs of this program are “expeditiously” reflected in its pricing.
