Further, you may file your claim using the Security First Mobile app, which allows you to upload photos of the damage.
Once you file a claim, Security First assigns your case to a third-party adjusting company. This company will send an adjuster to assess the damage to your home. In the event of a major disaster, claims are prioritized by the severity of the damage, Security First’s website states, so delays may occur.
After the assessment, the adjuster will then send a damage report to a claim examiner, who will review the report and create an estimate to repair the damage. This examiner will contact the filer by phone to discuss the estimate in detail, according to the company’s website.
According to its website, Security First’s protection program is enough to withstand a hurricane twenty times the cost of Hurricane Andrew.
“Our multiple event protection allows us to withstand another 2004 hurricane season with four storms and still continue to grow our business,” the website states.
