This year, veteran astronauts Dr. Thomas D. Jones and Capt. Scott D. Altman have been selected to receive one of the highest honors in their industry. On April 21, 2018 at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, they will be inducted into the United States Astronaut Hall of Fame® to become two of only 95 individuals to ever receive this esteemed honor.
The ceremony will take place in Space Shuttle Atlantis® at 11:00 AM, while the orbiter floats overhead. Guests are invited to attend the ceremony, included with daily admission.
On Sunday, April 22 at 11:00 AM, visitors are invited to a one-hour autograph session with the two new inductees. The event will be held on the bottom floor of Space Shuttle Atlantis and is also included with admission.
