Boca Raton-based Florida Peninsula Insurance has expanded its footprint with the opening of a new underwriting and operations center in Sarasota.
According to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, the homeowners insurance provider has opened the new office at 101 Paramount Drive, Suite 250, Sarasota. The new location will comprise a team of 16 underwriters and five customer service agents, the newspaper reported.
The Sarasota office will also handle new business and renewal underwriting functions.
“As we have continued to grow and flourish, we recognize the benefits of developing internal underwriting expertise to better meet the needs and demands of our loyal policyholders,” said Clint Strauch, the company’s president told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
“We believe the Sarasota market is a tremendous location for recruiting talent and we look forward to being part of the community.”
